We are looking for specific roles to fill. Submissions sent to date will be kept on file for future. Please see the character breakdown:
Dr. Magnificent: 40’s. A cowardly Confederate General, who escapes the army and becomes a Medicine Man. A strong singer/actor. A larger-than –life character with bravado, but with a heart of gold.
Louloubelle: 20’s, early 30’s. An escaped house slave, who joins Dr. Magnificent to get away from her owners. A strong singer/actress of African/American descent.
Jean Francois: 20’s -30’s. A French Canadian or Acadian Stevedor and pickpocket. a strong singer and athlete.(magic, acrobatics, juggling or other circus skills an asset).
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be
engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
